Indian cooking, yum!

It’s hard to decide 

On a favourite Indian dish

From the humble, roti, chapatti, naan, pappadam 

To soak in the spicy sauces

I really don’t know from which place they come

But one thing I know I love them all

Biryani, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala

Beef vindaloo, tandoori lamb, Rogan josh,

That’s for the meaty bits

I even like the side dishes of samosas, raita

Aloo gobi, malai kofta, Matar paneer

That’s for the veggies bit

They’re all my favourite 

Half the pleasure to eat Indian

Is to organise what each individual 

Will have then to share with everyone

For unfortunately one mouth and one belly 

I possess

So as the people like to say

Before tucking in

Bon appétit mes amis!
