For a natural biological phenomenon 

When it first appears

The child is no longer free to be

For it is preyed upon

By raptors that are boys and men

The child morphed into 

An anathema to mankind

She has become impure

In their sick mind

Imposing ostracism 

On her behaviour 

Instead of celebrating 

The potential to give life

Her reputation is sullied 

She never can be happy with herself

From that day onward

It has become a curse!
