Prompt 12 June 12 from TSL
"You think I'm not a goddess?" From Helen of Troy etc., by Margaret Atwood given by Gauri Dixit

"You think I'm not a goddess?"
What do you call
Weaving day after day
A word tapestry
From common words
Lasting to the end of the world.

Everyday the task is renewed
For the words have evaporated
‘Tis a punishment worthy of Tantalus
But it’s lauded as a virtue
For I am a goddess
Patience and eternity
Are my domains.
