Prompt 8 June 8 " She bled unspoken words from her fingers,
Watched as they fell from the ends of her hands" by Hemingway given by Geethanjali Dilip
She smiled
She never spoke back
Men loved her simple charm
Once home
She would open her notebook
A black moleskin one
Think about her day
Grabbed her mood pen
Her hair swayed around her face
Lashing her cheeks
Redder and redder with each second
It was going to be one of these days
She started writing
Bleeding unspoken words from her fingers
Watched as they fell from the end of her hands
Red rivers of blood
Flowing over the white page
Raw emotions over flowing
Free to express herself at last
The envy, the frustration
The rage, the hatred, the fury
All gushed in these leaking words
Until there were no more
From where they came from
Once again her face was serene
She could smile again.
