TSL,
Prompt 28 June 28 Whispering Waves by Shyamal Mukherjee sir based on the poem by JG Williams

Whispering waves come to die
On the shore in cohorts
Swift and short whispers
Exsangue and empty of energy
Barely touching the sand
Leaving a soft foamy line
Behind them
Defining wet and dry sand
Or stomping the ground
Creating angry whirlpools
Screaming utter frustration
To the sudden barrier
Standing in their way
Crashing on top of it
Overcoming any obstacle
Leaving for the following ones
To make their way inland
Their voice carried by the sea breeze
Songs of the alluring sirens
Unseen temptresses.
