Like a dog marking
His passage in the forest,
One can follows man's track
By the number of empty cans
Hitting the forest floor.
Illegally cutting wood
Is such a thirsty work,
Best to have a six pack or two
To do the dangerous job.
Don't want the missus
To know about the pick me up
Added to the tea or coffee thermos
Laying and rolling in the car cabin?
Easy open the car window
Litter the track nobody will know!
Except , except too many victims
Are making their way
To the social media
Inciting e-activists to sign
Petition after petition
To restrict access
To the forest.
You wouldn't do it
On the lounge carpet
So why do you do it
On the forest floor
You can barely afford a house
These days working all day
The forest is free
It belongs to everyone
And is priceless
Let keep it that way!
