Misanthropist 

I don’t know of anyone hating me

If you know of one 

Or are one of those

Let me know!

I don’t know why people would hate me,

I don’t know 

I don’t  really care

For it is their problem!

In the same vein

I don’t know why people love me

Some say they do 

I can’t fathom the reason why!

I am a misanthropist 

Living almost as a recluse

In the Australian bush

I’m happy roaming in nature

People are a constant irritation

Save for their entertaining value

That is maybe enough to hate/love me

Anyway ‘tis all in their mind.
