It always tickles me to see
A red heart or a thumb up
Appearing on my posts
I’m elated to see a comment
Not so much a critic
Even a positive one
For I realise we aren’t
Often on the same page
Readers like to think
They know what triggers my pen
Readers I do love them
Readers I do hate them
The relationship is fraught
To be a complex one
Friend or fiend
It edges on a word.
