I want to have vodka by the Volga
Ah, for this intoxicated fiesta
Make this into a roseate sonnet
To You who must be obeyed:
You might, but not I
I’ve been on the Volga
I’ve drunk vodka.
What a purge it is!
To be palatable
You need add pepper, vanilla
Lemon, cucumber, Ginger.
It could be a paint stripper
I wouldn’t see the difference
Rowing on the Volga
Oars rhythm in sync with our
Singing in the hazy twilight
Eagerly awaiting to its silence.
