My mind is in stasis
Like the fog outside
Suspended and opaque
Seemingly immobile
Time has paused
Powerful in itself
Hiding in its whiteness
Blindness is on par
Hearing takes the relay
The world is muted
Absence has no shape
Distance stretches into anxiety
My heart is heavy
Like a clock it beats eternity
Emptiness responds loudly
No sense, no reason
Neither hope nor wishes
Breath in, breath out
The fog morphed into mist
Turning into a tedious light
Worse or better
I do not mind or care
It's that kind of day.
