Woman's Day
What are you doing today?
Busy are You?
Come and join me for a brunch
With the local MP
She speaks well,
Is inspirational,
We'll have a great time.
I went, was bored
Always the same rhetoric
Nothing new, still the same talk
But the ladies were chuffed
They had spoken with a MP
They were politically savvy
All that for the price of a meal.
Went back home,
Was greeted by
"Had a good time?"
Followed by
"What's for dinner, darl?"
Men they never change.
