Between the gumtrees
The union of Jupiter and Venus
Is witnessed by the moon at its fullest
For me it's a midwinter full moon
For you on the other side of the world
It's a midsummer full moon
Still we are both right
Let's agree it's a full moon
Our points of view are so different
So are our realities
You are sweltering in a heatwave
I am shivering by the fire
Still the moon is full
Venus and Jupiter are to be wed
In man's mind
And I wonder
Is it the reflect of our condition
To bicker about the details
Forgetting the bigger picture?
